VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Perhaps you've saved enough money to putter around the country for a few weeks or months in your RV. What if you could extend that to a few months or maybe a year or longer? If you live frugaly and work as a volunteer in exchange for a camp site you could spend much more of your time living in dream locations.

If you have financial resourses, but not enough to pay all those expensive campground rates, and want to travel, volunteering may be the perfect way to make your money go further. Why not spend a few hours a week working for a campsite in a  location you would want to visit anyway?

Volunteering as an attendant, or doing minor maintenace, and other duties in exchange for a site may be your perfect solution.
Bluff Creek Falls is always looking for  seasonal volunteer campground hosts, and welcomes all inquiries throughout the year, no experience required. Hosting is in one or two-month increments only from April through October, and volunteer hosts are provided site for their RV, and smaller pets are welcome. This is a non-paying position, and hosts will get two days off during the week.
Our hosts are outgoing and love meeting new people. Our hosts are able to deal positively with different kinds of people and understand the limits of their authority and responsibility. They have strong camping experience, familiarity with the campground life and a knowledge of the area surrounding our campgrounds (or are willing to do what it takes to gain such knowledge).  Hosts provide their own camping unit & telephone for personal use.
When do our hosts work?

Hosts are on duty at least five days out of seven, with any days off taken mid-week. Daily hours vary, but are generally concentrated in early morning, mid-late afternoon, evening and nights. Hosts are “on call” whenever on site.
We are looking for the men who enjoy camping, meeting people, and helping fellow campers in need of information or services. If you enjoy  camping while at the same time reaching out to other campers, then this is for you!  This is a volunteer position in which the Campground Host will be provided with free camping and firewood in exchange for providing services including:  Greeting incoming campers, explaining campground regulations, providing campground information, and performing light maintenance duties.
